Kelly Bohot - Best Presentation at HQSC Scientific Symposium

15 November 2017

Congratulations to Kelly Bohot and all the team involved in the Survive Sepsis Improvement Collaborative for winning best presentation at the Health Quality & Safety Commission’s national scientific symposium held yesterday in Auckland.

Kelly, an Innovation + Improvement Project Manager for i3, presented “An improvement collaborative approach to timely identification and treatment of sepsis at Waitemata DHB” to the symposium.

"The real achievement for us was to have the opportunity to present our work at this symposium which sees many of our DHBs and healthcare leaders attend," says Kelly.

"To win the award for best presentation is really the icing on the cake for all the nurses, doctors, educators, and project team who have taken their time to work on this important collaboration."

It’s the third annual scientific symposium to be held and is the only New Zealand scientific symposium focused specifically on the science of health and disability care improvement by highlighting research and methods.
